History
Founded in 1972 by George Mayer, Coastline Equity has worked to provide high quality services to our clients throughout the real estate industry. Initially focused on institutional and private party lending, the company expanded its scope in 1985 to include the development of real estate assets across Southern California. By 1989, Coastline Equity had further evolved, embracing the role as professional property management firm, skillfully managing its growing portfolio of assets.

Entering the new millennium, property management emerged as Coastline Equity's primary focus, while the company continued to maintain a diverse book of commercial loans and provide a range of real estate services tailored to the needs of its clients. In 2017, Anthony A. Luna joined the company as a partner, collaborating with George Mayer to scale Coastline Equity's third-party property management services. Today, 95% of our management portfolio directly support our third-party clients, reflecting our commitment to delivering exceptional service and expertise.

Marking a new era for Coastline Equity, George Mayer retired in 2022, and Anthony A. Luna acquired the firm. Under his leadership, the company continues to build on its legacy of professionalism, innovation, and dedication to its clients. Coastline Equity remains a trusted and respected name in the Southern California real estate market, always striving to exceed expectations and create lasting, positive impacts for the communities we serve.
